X (@ItIzDestinyyy) – What should have been a moment of excitement for streamer T2R Destiny quickly turned into something way uglier.
She took to Twitter to share that she’s planning to change her streamer name, a common practice for creators. She said:
I just wanted to share that I’m officially changing my name from autistic_Destiny to ItIsDestinyyy.

A reply from HeyImTimothy1 came out of nowhere, mocking the change, saying:
Since then, Destiny has been facing harassment. As of now, there’s no known online presence for HeyImTimothy1, other than they playing Fortnite. The connections are still unconfirmed, but it’s something we’re watching closely.

After we first reported on the situation, T2R Destiny sent Level Up Blog more background on her experience with this user – and it runs way deeper than one comment.
This man has been harassing me for years – he only commented on here on the first post he could see before I blocked him. Because he somehow found me in an OFFLINE stream for the 2-3rd time while I am on camera chilling with other streamers and hanging out.
And this time he said “sup bosslady and @ me in the chat)….I had NO idea whatsoever he’d been the guy that was harassing me when I was on twitch … that is 4 years of this. I only was able to remember when a mod brought it to my attention that I had already had him banned for this before.
He knew I was about to block him when I saw another streamer being asked by him “Why did you block me bc of my name @ ____)” and I asked her over the call I was in to please dm me. Bc I was worried for mine and others communities and I was hoping to confirm the way he was acting was justified by SOME means. but then I find out that he’s been doing this for years. The screenshots supplied so far in my thread are from one of my mods and they are true. <3

This adds a whole new layer to the story – one that now spans platforms and multiple years.
This is a developing investigation. Level Up Blog is working to find more evidence of harassment against other streamers. We will ensure anonymity as well.
This kind of targeted harassment over something as tedious as a name change isn’t what we need in the community.
