A LOT is going on in our space and theres a bit of a rumble in the Kickverse and Twitterverse. I’ve noticed alot of people not only enjoy the chaos but if i speak up, its being heard or well people are watching. Keep watching me, I like it lol. So lets start off with this before we get our sections going… If you have a voice use it.
BUT if you have no experience on the matter or you just wanna piggy back off others to stay relevant, respectfully, shut up. You do not need to validate anything you are trying to say. I just hate when people talk on things they know nothing about or have no experience with. Now me, I always want answers.
I may not always speak up or go off unless i feel the need to do so and lately I have been feeling the need. I do love a bit of chaos however right is right and wrong is wrong. Point blank. So let’s start with our little chisme of a few things I know of, but please feel free to list more! Hell, maybe they will look and a lightbulb may come on.
Bans and Timeouts
So on Kick, banning someone is like timing them out. What’s the difference? If you ban, you don’t have to set a timer for when someone can talk again. But, they can still watch your stream and gift subs. If I am banning you that means you should not be able to see ANYTHING going on. Gift subs or nothing. We need this fixed.
Lists of Who’s there
So over on Twitch, you can see who is in your stream at all times. Meaning if someone is there that you have, let’s say, legal action against you can ban them right there. but over here on kick, I could have something from the courts, police report, whatever and even if I ban someone that person can still watch. Lets just say how safe is that? Fix it.
Favoritism
It’s here, and we all are aware. The fact of the matter is it should not be. I know someone who keeps getting denied for verification because a verified streamer that is cool with staff has basically had him blacklisted. Make that make sense. When his metrics are better than some of these KCIP (Kick Creator Incentive Program) holders. let that sink in.
Bots
We have all these bots and hate raids etc, but kick has no switch to keep on permanantly from their side to ensure thats not becoming an issue. and I know there are alot of people who hate it. But like I say, Kick sees no issue with it so they let it fly.
Staff
A lot of the members of staff act like they have no common sense and dont know how to address things or keep logs about important things. again, fix it.
Interactive Chat:
Why is the API not out, or anything to make it fun for chat? I’ve been saying its coming, and nothing yet. Two years and still in beta.. make that make sense and fix it!
Bad Apples
We have streamers who are registered p*dos, out here doing illegal things and streaming it, all the things you do not want to see or have your kids see, but Kick still allows them on the platform or gives them a timeout and then lets them come back. Why are we allowing the problems to stay but give the good people a hard time? FIX IT
Owners and Higher-Ups:
Lead by example. Simple nonsense y’all allow is what alot of us don’t want to see. You can still have your platform and maybe get alot more people if y’all made this look better.

I know theres alot more i did not list but if you are on the platform then you are fully aware of things going on. And this is why alot of streamers are multi-streaming! Because things are not being fixed and alot is getting out of hand. Luckily, people are looking for a change and wanting change like TheKickJoker.
