We are excited to announce the launch of a new initiative here at Level Up: “Level Up Together.” This initiative is dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the gaming community. As passionate gamers ourselves, we believe that gaming should be a space where everyone feels welcomed, represented, and celebrated.
In recent years, the gaming industry has made significant strides towards inclusivity, but there is still much work to be done. Too often, certain voices are marginalized or overlooked, leading to an environment that does not fully reflect the diverse experiences and perspectives of gamers worldwide. That’s why we’re stepping up to make a difference.
Streamer Spotlights
Through “Level Up Together,” we will shine a spotlight on the stories of streamers from diverse backgrounds. From women and people of color to LGBTQ+ individuals and those with disabilities, we want to amplify their voices and showcase the incredible contributions they make to the gaming community. By sharing their experiences, challenges, and triumphs, we hope to inspire others and foster a greater sense of belonging within the gaming world.
But our commitment to diversity and inclusion doesn’t stop there. We will also be dedicated to providing inclusive coverage of the latest gaming news. From highlighting efforts by game developers to promote diversity in their games to showcasing initiatives by esports organizations to create more inclusive spaces, we will strive to report on stories that reflect our values of equity and inclusion.
