For those that know, Midwest Fest happened recently and there were ups and downs. Personally, I enjoyed myself. I met alot of creators that I interact with alot and I felt that since the event is in its second year, its still small. still growing. and evolving. But what would a con be without the drama?
I can tell you that Adrian is amazing. He communicates and answers questions. I found the event beneficial in a sense I could breathe and actually talk to people as well as vendors. The bar was fun as well. This was more for streamers/content creators but it can definitely use some work. like more fans, more vendors and games, better panel schedule and topics, etc.
But Adrian was willing to take ideas and what not which was amazing. He was all in all a good person and fun to be around. Now as a lot may know Echosnation (twitter/x, kick.com) was supposed to perform at the afterparty which was supposed to be held at the arena. But due to major fuckery that was afoot plans changed.
However, Echos still managed to get his music video done and event goers still found things to do and enjoy themselves. That is the important thing. TheKickJoker (twitter/x, kick.com) and Chavezflexingtn (twitter/x, kick.com) did an impromptu interview with Adrian pertaining to all of this which can be found by the link.
Obviously, people will speak and some will only talk about the bad that went on and not the good. However my purpose for putting this out was to highlight the fact that Adrian went on with Joker and Chavez to clear things up and to show the people that this is something that we should look forward to going to every summer.
